Paws & Effect Groom and Spa is owned by Melissa Ripple and Natalie Hedberg. We have over 20 years in the customer service industry working with people.  We decided we wanted to spend the next 20 years working with our furry friends! 

In Florida there is no requirement for groomers to be licensed.  However, we believe that each groomer should be licensed and have a good understanding of the canine anatomy.  We have completed 900 hours of study at the Florida Institute of Animal Arts.  We have been trained in the art of Hand Scissoring, anatomy (making your dog look great despite any 'flaws', Breed Patterns, Hand Stripping, skin diseases and so much more. We subscribe to the highest industry pet grooming standards.  We are also certified in Canine CPR.

We have had dogs and cats all our lives and cannot imagine life without them. Several of our dogs are CGC (Canine Good Citizens) with the AKC.  This means that they have passed a series of tests on temperament and obedience.  These dogs are members of Caring Canine Therapy Dogs (we follow them along!).  We visit hospitals, schools and nursing homes to try to cheer people up.  Visit us at www.CCTD.org.

We are currently grooming dogs, cats and other fuzzies out of a small shop in downtown Eustis.  Your furry loved ones are treated as part of the family and given the same love and attention we give our own.  We welcome you to our shop for a tour. (Please give us a call first, so we can vacuum up the hair!)

We want you to know that we provide the same relaxed atmosphere for your pets. We offer your dogs and cats the care and attention they receive at your home.  We only groom a small number of dogs per day so your loved one is given personal attention and the extra care they may need.

We subscribe to the highest industry standards in the care and grooming of your pet.  Each of our staff undergoes special training before they begin their job.  We have an ongoing concern for the humane treatment of all pets.
